Getting Started

How do I get started with VoxRoute? +
Getting started is simple: Sign up for a free 14-day trial, verify your business information, and you'll have access to the dashboard within minutes. From there, you can purchase phone numbers, configure IVR flows, and make your first API call. Our quickstart guide walks you through the entire process step by step.
Do I need technical knowledge to use VoxRoute? +
Not necessarily. Our visual IVR builder allows you to create call flows with drag-and-drop simplicity—no coding required. However, if you want to integrate VoxRoute with your existing systems (CRM, EHR, etc.), our REST API is developer-friendly with SDKs available for Node.js, Python, PHP, and more.
What's included in the free trial? +
The 14-day trial includes full access to the Professional plan features: up to 5 phone numbers, 100 minutes of calling, IVR builder, API access, and CDR logging. No credit card required to start. At the end of the trial, you can choose a plan that fits your needs.

Pricing & Billing

How does pricing work? +
VoxRoute uses a simple hybrid model: a monthly platform fee that includes a bundle of minutes, plus pay-as-you-go rates for usage beyond your bundle. Phone numbers are billed monthly. There are no hidden fees, setup costs, or long-term contracts required.
Can I change plans at any time? +
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades apply at the start of your next billing cycle. If you're on an Enterprise plan, contact your account manager for plan modifications.
What payment methods do you accept? +
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), ACH bank transfers for US customers, and wire transfers for Enterprise accounts. All payments are processed securely through Stripe with PCI DSS compliance.

Technical

What is SIP trunking and do I need it? +
SIP trunking is a technology that allows you to make and receive phone calls over the internet instead of traditional phone lines. If you're building voice applications, sending automated calls, or connecting a PBX system, you'll use our SIP trunks. If you're only using our IVR and notification features through the API, you don't need to worry about SIP—we handle it automatically.
What's your uptime guarantee? +
We guarantee 99.99% uptime for all paid plans, backed by our Service Level Agreement (SLA). Our infrastructure is geo-redundant across multiple data centers with automatic failover. If we fail to meet this commitment, you're entitled to service credits as outlined in our SLA.
Do you support international calling? +
Yes, VoxRoute supports calling to 150+ countries and offers local phone numbers (DIDs) in 40+ countries. International rates vary by destination—check our pricing page for specific rates. Professional and Enterprise plans include global calling by default.

Compliance & Security

Is VoxRoute TCPA compliant? +
Yes, VoxRoute has built-in TCPA compliance features including: opt-in consent tracking, automated time-of-day calling restrictions (no calls before 8 AM or after 9 PM local time), DNC list management, and comprehensive CDR logging. However, ultimate compliance responsibility lies with you—we provide the tools, but you must use them correctly.
Can VoxRoute be used for healthcare (HIPAA)? +
Yes, VoxRoute is HIPAA-eligible. Enterprise customers can sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with us. We provide encrypted call recordings, secure CDR storage, access controls, and audit logging to support HIPAA compliance requirements.
What is STIR/SHAKEN and do you support it? +
STIR/SHAKEN is a framework to combat caller ID spoofing and robocalls. It authenticates that callers are who they claim to be. VoxRoute provides full STIR/SHAKEN support with A-level attestation, meaning your calls are verified as legitimate and less likely to be blocked or marked as spam.
